Core services provided by the Department of Urban Services and Infrastructure
– Membership Assistance
– Mobility Assistance Program and extended care (Medication, vision, dental)
– Lifestyles Program (helps to provide members with any recreational equipment needed)
– Transitional Assistance Program helps members transition into new work roles (work gear, short-term training, relocation support etc.)
– Youth assistance programs (Assistance with school fees and school supplies, recreation sports fees)
– Activity Assistance program to help fund extracurricular activities through school or sports
– Home Ownership Program helping first-time home owner programs up to $5,000
– Home Renovation Program for Seniors to help remedy any health deficiencies in their home or make the home more accessible for those with disabilities
– Medical transportation Service for Seniors and people with mobility issues
– Comfort Allowance $75 for toiletry items
– Drivers License program up to $500
– Monthly Come Eat Program feeds 75-100 people
– Volleyball & sOftball programs on weekends
– Senior meetings once per month
– Youth gathering once per month
– Men’s group once per month
– Adult Craft Day – weekly
– Seasonal programs e.g. Mother’s Day Tea, Fathers Day Game Night, Family Skate Day
